Yesterday, an old friend of mine asked me to getting married as soon as possible because due to his own measurement tape, I’m already too old. Heck, I’m still 23 years old, not even 24, yet. He’s even older than me, and yes, I know he already have someone but that doesn’t mean he can brag about it right?

Sigh. Sometimes people try so hard to make everything right according to whatever they believe. Somehow, I believe in myself and I don’t want to encounter the pain anymore. The most painful thing in life is losing yourself in the process of valuing someone too much and forgetting that you are special too. Yeah, I believe that I’m special. How about you guys?

Somehow I believe that I write better in Malay language since I practiced blogging lots in Malay compare to English nowadays. I started writing in English (blogging) back in 2008. My miserable life, my messy stuffs - everything in English.

Period.

After left university in 2009, I don’t seat for any examination (besides interviews or INSAK). Been ages I don’t spend my time reading lots of notes and seat for examinations. Mind you guys that I actually read a lot too before teaching, but of course, it’s not me who should answer all the questions aite?

Ramadhan #02 - Sometimes Life Hurt Just To Make Us Smile

Salam and hi fellas.

It's my 2nd day of Ramadhan story.

I received a phone call just now. Something that brighten my life. At last, the things that I'm waiting for is arrived. I faced lots of problem due to the existence of the thing in my life. Such a pricey stuff, but some people think it's so easy to get it just because I'm a government officer. But, it's okay. Let's take it as a challenge and Alhamdulillah, thanks Allah, I'll get the thing by tomorrow or next Monday.

Let's say this is my current mood.

Happy, blissful but then, there's some sour part too. I don't mind, that's what we called as life anyway.

Second day of Ramadhan, it's a sunny day.

Luckily is not that hot yet (or it's because I'm under the fan in the staff room?). Gosh, it's not funny anyway. I'm happy when the thing is coming up, the mini project getting lots of people to join it (more than one already considered as many right?).

Zara : Pretty sleepy, the weather make me a bit tired but then, I hope it won't reduce my happiness. I do sounds childish a bit, but then, happiness will make me smiling, and I do love to smile.

It's time to fasting for one month, served the best and do the great things (it's not only Ramadhan we did that anyway) but then, when Ramadhan comes, it's better for us to do more welfare thingy. All right, there's just some introduction because it's been ages I didn't write in English anyway. I communicate in English but rarely written in leisure like this anymore. Forgive me.

When I received the e-mail from Nuffnang Team to blog about this, I do jump on my bed crazily.

Here are some details about the venue, date and time when the street fair will be held.

Date: 17th April 2010
Time: 10am till 5pm
Venue: Front Foyer, Ground Floor, Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur.

The words street fair already sounds really exciting.

But hold on, you bet that will be just street fair for nothing?

That's a mistake dear. LOL!

No, they won't wrestle with each other.

There are going to be lucky draws and we have various cool gadgets worth up to RM15,000 up for grabs! Among the exciting fun-fair games on that day - Sumo Wrestling (in air bag suits!), gladiator battles and other amusing and addictive games you would expect at a fun-fair!

Does it make your adrenaline run faster?

Sure it does!

Furthermore, personally I do think it'll be a great place for bloggers to meet up and meet the Nuffnang team as well.How colorful the the advertisement that they made? Totally make me excited to be a part of those who had been invited to the fair.

Chemistry Never Let Your Dream Fade Away

Barista is one of my dream job now. I do seems love other fields but then, I will show to some of you, a barista is a part of chemistry too. Maybe some people do not really clear on what kind of barista that I want to be, so, seriously tell of you, I want to be a Coffee Barista. As be defined in the Wikipedia sites, a Barista refers to one who has acquired some level of expertise in the preparation of espresso-based coffee drinks. Within certain circles, its meaning is expanding to include what might be called a "coffee sommelier"...

So that, something that will crossed our minds, "coffee sommelier"? Of course it nothings to do with some smelly people or what but it is a professional who is highly skilled in coffee preparation! Gee! I really want to be a barista. I guess because I watched Coffee Prince a lot, I'm addicted or craze to be a barista. But then, something that I need to remind myself, a "coffee sommelier" must come with a comprehensive understanding of:

1. coffee
2. coffee blends
3. espresso
4. quality
5. coffee varieties
6. roast degree
7. espresso equipment
8. maintenance
9. latte art, etc.

See, its really awesome! I mean, to make a cup of coffee, we need to fulfill those kind of skills. The best thing that I want to learn is latte art. It looked so nice when I watched the drama series, not to say that someone had draw a cute litle love on my coffee...Whether I love Nescafe more than coffee, but coffee never kick my love towards it...I told you, if someone can centrifuge my blood, they will find something interesting in that components! You will not only be able to find the platlet etc. (I already forget about those things - sorry Biology 2002-2003), but you can find Nescafe portions too! Its like my blood is build with that kind of component.

You can say that I'm addicted to the caffeine so much.I am not only drink Nescafe, Coffee and Tea as well. One of my assignments last 2 semester is on Determination Of Caffeine by Using SPE-HPLC, the instrument in the Analytical Chemistry Laboratory. I found that it is really interesting to read on that particular things. I mean, of course you want to know what are the things that you drink every morning, not to mention sometimes twice a day. I am really a caffeine-addict, I admit that.

For some people, caffeine is just caffeine, but for some of us who read and do some research on it, caffeine is an alkaloid of the methylxanthines family. In its pure state, it is an intensely bitter white powder. Its chemical formula is C8H10N4O2, and its systematic name is 1,3,5-trimethylxanthine. If we can check the structure itself, we will find that it contained a lot of functional groups etc.

Caffeine always make me excited. I mean, with the facts that it is a naturally occurring substance found in the leaves, seeds or fruits of over 63 plants species worldwide and is part of a group of compounds known as methylxanthines. More over, it is almost everywhere in the food or drinks that we take daily, such as coffee, cocoa beans, cola nuts and tea leaves.If we see it from other points of view, caffeine is a pharmacologically active substance and depending on the dose, can be a mild central nervous system stimulant.

I've told all of you, barista is a part of chemistry too. Without those knowledge, I mean, we need to really understand the coffee itself before we can be a barista right?. Show your love to something that you want to do, even if it seems impossible, we can try and work for it...Life is a long journey...I know you will admit that too...

Tomorrow, every Muslim will celebrate Eid Adha.

There's a story lies behind it.

I'm gonna write about it later, but talking about this festive, something to be highlighted is SACRIFICE.

Yeah!

That's the value behind it.

Sometimes we need to sacrifice something that we love, in searching the real meaning of life and perhaps, what we tend to sacrifice will bring good significant to the others as well.

Oh, currently I'm single and available.

Just broke up last Tuesday (17th Nov 2009).

It's kinda a form of sacrification as well.

Varicella - Totally A Nice Name But Will Everyone Like It?

Hi fellas!

How are you? Just hope that everything will be good for you. Again, my apologize because I rarely update my first baby here. I mean my blog, thanks for understand it. LOL!

Since last Thursday (8th October 2009), I'm officially infected by Varicella Zoster Virus (VZV). Well, it do sounds lovely, I mean the name of it but seriously, I don't like it anyway. Well, commonly we called it as Chicken Pox. Yup, and it's totally make my life messy. *sigh*

Well, I'm currently waiting to be posted to any schools by MOE (Ministry of Education). Just hope that when it comes to 16th October, I mean this Friday, the result will be available on the website. Unfortunately, my dream to be a teacher in Sabah seems impossible because I didn't receive any letter last week. (Note that everyone that got the letter been posted to Sabah and Sarawak). So, my chances right now is only in Peninsular of Malaysia. I do hope that my name is in the list. I'm totally want to be a teacher right now after I declined to further my studies in Masters level. *smile*

What else?
My love life is just good. Don't know if it's totally worked on me, on us, but I just hope that everything is fine. Somehow, we are try our best to keep it as been planned. Life is sometimes need us to sacrifice and when it comes to love matter, I always wonder if I can do so again. I don't want to think about it. Just let it be like it should be.

I do hope that I'll recover as soon as possible. Can't really stand with the pain anyway. Till then, have a great life everyone. You totally deserve it!

I guess it's because it's colorful and really meaningful. Yeah, we are schoolmates. After left school in 2003, only Aidilfitri is the right time to get together back. Just like the old days. Well, in relationship, there will be something you need to pay each time you said that you actually belong to that person. It did sound embarrassing a bit when I do think I want to write about it, but just f**k off, I need to become so moderate sometimes.

This is currently my wallpaper for my Nokia 5130 XpressMusic.
It's my new phone and I do just love to express myself with it. I mean, the music that lingered in my life, that bring me up until now, I just put it in that red phone.

I don't know what I need to face now.
But I know, how much the pain that I need to pay, I do have to face it. Sometimes I did talked with my buddy about our legacy, and I figured out something that keep me alive.

Yeah, strength. I'm strong.

I have been pushed to my limits plenty of times before, but I can control myself. No matter how much I've been knocked down, I always get up. Everyone looks past I strong-willed sense of compassion and they tend to be shown up. I will not take anyone's business and I plan to keep it that way. Once I let my guard down, sometimes I lost myself.

Hi fellas!
Yesterday I just announced the winners of the contest in my first language blog. Well, it ended up pretty good with bunch of contestants, but I need to choose the best and follow the rules. Anyway, talk about some items that we treasure in life, I do have something that I just got recently.

For me, it do looked great and just remind me to something that I miss almost the most.
Damn! I miss what I left one year back - a great relationship with a so-called-friend. Yup! He's a great boy indeed but for me, he is a man. Yeah, he is more matured compare to any adults that I know. Still, it only my past. We just can't have it back even I tried my best to be with him as a good friend like the old days.

This is my new T-Shirt. I do found it's just really cool.
Well, it might not show the exact location of my friend stay but still, it's something what we called as arts and he's an art lover.

Just came back from UTM today.
Returned the robe and collected the transcript.
I went there this morning by 7.30 bus and traveled alone - enjoyed the views from the window.
The bright weather really make me have cheerful mood.

Met up some bloggers during lunch hour.
Met my handsome supervisor in his office at the faculty.
My lovely Communication lecturer gave me a call - which make me really happy to hear from her. I miss her class and the way she taught us before.

Less Than 24 Hours But I Enjoyed The Moment

On Friday, I went back to my campus.
After almost four months graduated, I came back to collect my robe for the convocation. Really miss the moment with my friends.

It do took 2 and half hours to collect the robe. The queue just too long and make my foot really in pain. But again, when you met those people who significant in your life, their smiles will bring the pain away automatically. That's it.

Cursing Is Not My Last Resort

Cursing people is like a taboo.
Yeah, it considered as taboo in every society.
You cursing people today - it's not impossible someone will cursing you more than you actually do to them or anyone else.

I got some bad news again yesterday.
One of my family members (not my parent or siblings) become so busybody of my life.
I don't mind if you want to do that people, but when you have the tendency to spread speculations and rumors, you better back-off.

I was considering to close my other blog which I wrote in my first language.
Hell yeah, it's impossible to make everyone satisfy with us.
People have this kind of possibility to make some story looked damn great when they tell the others - but how about it ruined someone life after you mentioned it?

You never have this kind of feeling?
I mean - guilty?
I was thinking to curse someone and the rest of her family yesterday but thanks God, I'm still remember of what I want to do.
Cursing or attacking personal life is not my way on solving things.
Whether I want to curse with F-words or B-words,
I still can control my mind and emotions.

It must be lucky to have someone who really care about us.
I do have more than someone, and that's what build me up now today.

Last night, I was down a bit.
I guess it caused by everything that lingered in my life this few days.
It's not anybody's mistakes or faults, but it's mine.
I can't control my chromosome pretty well.

Today is my second last day in school.
Pretty tired and exhausted - Thanks God it's Friday!

By the way, school is fun and sometimes it'll turned suck as well.
But hell yeah, need to face it with open heart and mind - or at least, that's what I believe it should be. I do what I think it'll serve the best for the students, even I sacrificed myself for it.

But again, they never understand.
Put the blame on teachers.
Play truants.
Did not finish up their homework.
Too many excuses given - and those are just lame excuses.

Some students have the tendency to build themselves as spoil brat.
Damn spoil.
Which make me almost have headache.

Well, that's what happened yesterday.
One of my students told me about her love life.
Do I seems care?
Unfortunately, I won't give any damn on it for some good reasons.

Hell yeah, I don't mind if you want to have partner or couple in your life.
But, when you're a student (a school student),
I personally think that you should balance your life,
between the studies and love.

When I give you homework to be accomplish,
please do so and never ever talk about anything else that totally unnecessary in my class.
When I assigned you to draw machine, or any hand tools,
just do it.
Don't draw heart shapes in your note book!
Totally unnecessary girl!

Gosh!
I never ever said no to love thingy but for me,
as been mentioned earlier,
there's no use you really drown in love if you don't finish up my homework!

Some people may said that I'm a fierce teacher,

It's public holiday in Johore today.

By the way, yesterday I bought something for myself.
Just some simple stuffs to cheer me (what a reason?)

Since last few weeks, I'm looking for a new shoe that I can wear to school.
Still remember my stripes shoe?
Well, too funky and cheerful.

I found something which is totally not me. I mean, the old me.

Gosh, totally unbelievable.
That's what I kept telling myself.
Be a teacher is totally out of my plan when I was in secondary school.
Yup, even after SPM, some of my counselors asked me not to further studies in education
courses.
But, hell yeah, after matriculation, I'm in the education course,
and yet, insyaALLAH, will attend my convocation
this coming August.

I believe in myself.
I always do.
That's what one of my friends told me, "Believe in Yourself"

When some friends and others kept telling me that I won't be able to survive as a teacher,
it's make me wonder why they always say so.
Is that because sometimes I lost my temper easily?

I'm an educator but at the same time, I'm a learner as well.
I learn the emotions of human beings, my students, teachers and others in a small community called school.
When we are in the same school,
it's like we are family, a big family.

Something that I learned after almost one month here,
I controlled my anger, I'm the one who control my mind,
and I never allowed my heart controlled my brain.

Hell yeah, some people still looked down at me.

"She's just a fresh graduand. Nothing she can do."

Thanks for said something like that.
I'll prove that all of you are wrong.
I learn and I will never ever stop my learning process.

Hoyeah! We Sell A Lot Today!

Yeah!
Thanks God everything went smoothly.
Gosh, I'm totally tired today.
Woke up at 4 a.m. to prepare all the meals that we need to sell today.
Not to mentioned that yesterday was a very exhausted day.

I'm a teacher now.
That's what I kept remind myself.
I can't just ran away from the responsibilities.

Too many parents that came today.
It's something great because we managed to sell a lot, and closed the shop before 11 a.m.!
OMG!
Something interesting, those fellas that I teach came to my small booth and buy from me.
Chinese, Malay and Indian as well.
Yeay!
That's what we called as Unity pals!

Some parent said that I looked to young and even addressed me as "Adik" (Lil Sis).
Err, I bet they supposed to read my name tag.
It's just the same as some morning session students.
They thought I'm an outsider.
LOL!

By the way, sorry because I can't write to much.
Too tired and sleepy.

I was in the lab.
Not teaching Science or Chemistry,
but the Life Skills.
LOL!

Told ya,
I'm a laboratory fan.
So, I don't care if I need to begging the teachers or any staffs to use it.

Ah,
you can see the cane,
but seriously, I never caned anyone.
Some of them maybe too rude, but hell yeah,
I kept silent.
I won't punish them right now.

By the way, the most worse things happened today.
I found that my students cheat on me.
Yeah, cheat!
Damn!

Plus, as usual I got too many excuses why they didn't finish up the homework and
even didn't bring books to my class.

"Where's your book?"

"I don't bring it teacher. It's at my home"

"Who want to use it if you left it at home? Your cat?"

"Nope, my Chicken."

(cursing in my mind)
"I'll make sure that I kill the chicken, so that you can bring the book to school."

I promised them.
If they still make the same mistakes in my class,
I totally will ask them to stay outside the class.
In easy word, chase them out.

I broke a wooden chair.

I'm pissed off again with some boys in class, and I hit the desk with the chair.
It's only as a warn actually, but unfortunately, the chair was broken.
I took all the broken part, brought it to the workshop, and took a new chair.
(Sounds like I'm a rebel kids before.ROFLOL)

All my academic institutions are in Johore.
As a pure Johorian, I never went out yet.
My primary and secondary schools were in Muar, Johore.
My matriculation college was in Tangkak, Ledang, Johore.

I do love Chemistry so much.
It's the fact whether Mom not allowed me to take Chemical Engineering,

There's a teacher in my school now called me as her daughter-in-law.
I didn't realize it up until she proposed me directly few days before.

"I've a son. He's working for the army"

I was blurred. Totally blurred at that time, so I just kept listening.
Some of the teachers around us already smiled and I was struggling to figure out what she meant by her words.

"Oh really? Sounds great, a noble job like us as well."

I replied her with that kind of statement.
Pretty safe fact I guess.

"You already have boyfriend? Want me to introduce my son to you?"

I was shocked!
Freak out as well at the same time.
Why with this lady, that's totally crossed my mind at that time.

I was speechless.

Some teachers were laughing.

Teacher A : Answer it Zara.

Teacher B : If she just keep silence, that mean she already have someone special, lor~
(At this point, I really want to shout that's totally wrong)

Teacher C : Just ask her parent. Plus, his dad is the morning session's teacher.

I'm freak out.
My brain totally do some mind-gymnastic that time.

...and that's how it is now.

The Journey That Never Ends is still never ends.
Just a small change of the name after 1 year I do actively blogging using Blogger.

Life is much challenging nowadays.
Facing the students everyday,
not to mention the teachers, staffs and much more.

70-90 km/h everyday on motorcycle always make me thinking about my life.
Is this what I want?
Is this what I want to do for the rest of my life?

One of my Dynamics told me this before.
" Zara, a successful person is when he wanna achieve something, he'll try all means to get it,
(but of course legally), he sees nothing in obstacles.
Running away, avoiding or giving a lot of excuses are not what winners do.
You, yourself are clear of what your dreams are.
If you've the means already, just do it without regret.
